What has been your journey in the home building or construction industry?

“The journey has been a great experience. I don’t think I would change anything. I have gained many friends and acquaintances through the industry. Home building is becoming more technical.”

What is the most challenging aspect of building a custom home?

Keeping customers on a budget they have set and accomplishing their goals.”

When new clients come in to build a custom home, it can be an exciting experience. With every build, there are budgets to take into consideration. When building their dream home, sometimes clients must make concessions. Chuck works with clients to ensure they meet their goals and stay on budget. When asked about his greatest challenge in homebuilding, he mentioned this was tough.

What do you find most rewarding about working with our team on custom home projects?

“Working with a team with the end goal of satisfying the customer. Knowing that we are there to give the customer the best quality we can achieve.”

How do you think the industry is evolving, especially with sustainability and technology?

The landscape of home building is ever-evolving, and with that, we are seeing not only exciting design trends but an increased desire for efficiency. Consumers are becoming more aware of individual consumption and are choosing to incorporate energy-saving choices into their custom home builds. Chuck believes this trend is great but is concerned that energy-efficient options are becoming “less affordable for the average customer.”
